The Rumor Mill

this is a BBall post but with a month to go til south beach I give you this absolutely unsubstantiated nugget for hawk fans.
The rumor mill is a buzz with the fact that K-State will be hit with a scathing NCAA investigation finding (maybe as late as Jan) focusing mainly on basketball, that may very well land them with the “lack of institutional control” flag and earn a couple years of no post-season play.
Note: I have not been able to tell if this is separate than the one initially focusing on football that was started a couple months back or evidence uncovered as part of that investigation
You heard it here first, of course if I am wrong… nothing to see here… move along…

Is this the same one they were talking very little about in September? I thought football was somehow involved, but they were doing an internal investigation.

yeah it would be a big shocker I know he usually runs such clean programs.
I still don’t know if this is part of that fb investigation or a separate thing.
Could be a couple more infractions who knows…
