Mizzou Fans = Allsome

I don’t think this needs any explanation or additional thought.

For once this season you do have the better looking uniforms, so that is something…

  1. Guess the insight bowl really did do them a favor. Nothing impoves recruiting like getting run off the field by Navy.

  2. Lee Corso being a dumbass never gets old

  3. Is that Phenomenal Smith?

  4. What is that guy doing? To whom is he directing the gesture? Is he choking on something or is he saying Mizzou is choking? And, shouldn’t the title be limited to the singular, assuming you are taking issue with the choking guy. Or, are you talking about the girl who appears to be holding a tissue for the guy next to her to blow his nose? That’s just being nice.

Hiphop, improve recruting? I think a top 15 class is probably our ceiling anyway.

  5. I’m assuming he’s using it in the Italian sense of I will cut your throat right now. Missouri fans are prone to illogical displays of emotion just like the Mafia. It’s the imbreeding.

I’m mostly kidding, please don’t send Louie after me.

  6. I’d agree, and I’m very impressed with said recruiting class. But you know as well as I do, that the common rationalization of being relegated to the Texas Bowl was, “that’s where we recruit, etc…”

  7. As of 10:48 remaining in the 4th, Missery had just turned the ball over on downs.

My guess is that he’s either telling a celebrating/taunting Navy player that he’s going to kill him (metaphorically, of course, but ironic nonetheless) or he’s telling Blaine that he’s going to kill him for throwing three consecutive incomplete passes. I hope it’s the latter, but my guess is that he’s responding to Navy’s celebration; classy either way.

  8. Oh, it’s a death threat. I didn’t see that. Anything improper he may be doing is greatly outweighed by his neighbor’s kindness. Seriously, who cares what one asshole (or not) does at a football game?

Anyway, it’s one of my pet peeves when the actions of one is attributed to a large group of people. Makes me uncomfortable.

I hear what you’re saying hiphop but isn’t the sought after benefit for recruiting not so much the actual game in recruits’ backyards, but that the recruits and their families and freinds come to your practices and hang out with the team? Losing any bowl game like that isn’t going to help recruiting, but it’s just one game and I imagine any negative impact is minimal.

The whole getting relegated to the Texas Bowl justification was simply looking on the bright side. All Tiger fans know we got screwed, which has led to a shitload of them wanting to move to the Big 10. Still, getting rolled in the Texas Bowl is probably better than playing against Minnesota in the Insight given that all I did over the weekend was watch football and have yet to see a single highlight of the Iowa State game.

  9. A little youtube search shows it all:
